When brainstorming for this project I felt a little lost and confused. I couldn't think of any specific mood or feeling I wanted to convey. But I began to just pick my favorite sounds, add unique filters, and layer them. After some trial and error my soundscape began to have a rhythm and upbeat style. I kept adding more and more sounds from my everyday life, trying to make the listener feel like they were in my shoes.

Once I had a solid base and concept down, I began to incorporate a lot more filers and alterations to each sound. I had a lot of fun playing with features such as echo, reverb, and distort. I felt these changes were able to turn my everyday sounds into a more artistic expression. I also found a lot of success in layering multiple clips of the same sounds. This helped me create a new unique sound that was still tied into the overall theme of the project.

I continued to play with filters
and incorporate new sounds. I was able to use everyday sounds but add an eerie and mysterious vibe to them. While I am very proud of this project, there is still a lot that I need to learn and improve for the future. I was not too comfortable editing sounds because most of the time I would just use trial and error until I created something that I liked. If I want to improve my skills on Adobe Audition I must learn more about how different effects change the sounds. But overall I am very proud of myself for how much I learned and the high quality of my final soundscape.
